Wedgwood Black Astbury China is part of Wedgwood’s Prestige Collection. The Black Astbury china pattern first appeared in the Wedgwood pattern books in 1929. Wedgwood introduced this version of the Black Astbury china pattern in 2005. Each Black Astbury dinner plate is adorned with 1,160 gold embellishments, and each is individually raised by the delicate touch of highly experienced ceramic painters. The Black Astbury pattern is hand lined, gilded and banded in 24-karat gold.
